Sometimes.. people say things to you which just kind of stick! Today, which discussing the inevitable future life-partner, this line was thrown at me…
“it doesn’t matter who you choose to spend your life with. in a couple of years, you’ll regret it all the same and both of you will adapt to each other. dont think too much… just go with it”
really?

No not really,
That’s maybe the most negative/depressing thing i heard about this topic.lately. sorry. If the person was trying to comfort you. it wasn’t working.
like the line.. Shaadi barbaadi… :S
hell no.. if finding a life-partner isn’t that big a problem.. It will be after hearing those kind of lines. Just be aware and sincere of the choices you have to make.
don’t mind my Englisch spelling
Grz. Joyce
Oh god….talk about being a pessimist! I dont agree with this…yes you will adapt to each other but in a more positive stride inshallah!
joyce: welcome to my blog. hope you enjoy ur stay here. thanks for ur words of confidence
kanwal: inshallah :$
No tension, choose confidentently and wisely….
I know you will be a good joru ka ghulam;)
Wow. Haha, so somebody really is looking forward to the marriage deal and is taking two steps back. Talk about contradiction:P
I would agree with Joyce. This would have to be the second most depressing thing I’ve heard (won’t go into the 1st most depressing thing!). This would also be a perfect way to take away the responsibility of “making” the marriage work from BOTH sides. You regret it if one or both partners don’t WORK at the marriage. There is nothing like a “marriage made in heaven”. You make it WORK here and then GO to heaven!!
unaiza: yes :p u would know wouldn’t u :p lolzz
fq: yes, i *am* looking forward to it.. just how much is a question of debate…
sk: lolz @ GO to heaven :p (for reasons seperate from ur comment).
