free money!

Lately i’ve been getting a lot of offers for free money!
It appears that i’m really really lucky! I get atleast one email a day saying i’ve won some lottery or other! One day its the UK National Lottery, then its the Scandinavian Lottery.. I’ve had winnings from Coca Cola Lottery, Yahoo International Lottery and the Honda Lottery! On some days, i get emails from a childless widow in Saskatchewan or someplace, asking me to contact her lawyers anad get the money left to her by her husband and on her behalf to distribute in charities since she can neither speak nor see! What a lucky streak i’ve been having lately!! yayyyy~!
*feigning ecstatic look on my face*
Now i start the reason i’m writing this post. If you get an email from someone you dont know, claiming u’ve won obscene amounts of money and you need to contact a facilitator or someone to get it, never… i repeat.. never go for it! These people will get your personal information, and either get your money (if you have any) or get huge amounts of loans on your name (and credit history) and disappear, leaving the collection agencies coming to your place and breaking your legs! Oh, and the excuse ‘i didn’t do it, it was someone else’ doesnt work. These collection people dont see names, faces or humans. They just see a name and a balance in front of it.
The first couple of emails you get can be very enticing! Questions such as ‘What if its true?’. ‘What if i really can get all that money without doing anything?’ pop up in the mind. Wild ideas to spend it in the most outrageous fashions haunt the mind. The temptation to check the validity of this offer can be very great! However, you must resist! There is NO SUCH THING AS FREE MONEY! Read the para above for reasons as to why!
Incase you didn’t get that.. here’s the moral one more time…
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FREE MONEY!

Genuine Lotteries are free money but there is no doubt these are fraudulent emails.
Exactimo…..there is no such thing as free money. You need to work for anything worthwhile.
Mansoor, have you ever received such spam through postal mail ? I have!
