wah wah bhai! aap ka to jawab nahi!

That’s what i say now to the totally oblivious, waste of blood cells, poor excuse for being alive human beings who cross my path everyday trying to

a) be killed by me
b) get me to bump them from behind
c) get me to hit their cars so they can claim insurance?!
d) just generally irritate the hell out of me!!

As you can imagine, this post goes out to all the dumbasses on karachi’s roads!

Now i know why people from the ‘other side of the bridge’ are so frickinge edgy! They have to deal with God knows how many idiots on a daily basis! Just this morning, this motorcylist (they’re the worst) stopped without warning right in front of me! Why? to unload his passenger! Must’ve been a mini bus driver at some point! I swear i was about to run him over! On top of that, he had the gall to turn back and stare at me like it was my fricking fault!

Then we have the other motorcyclists who dont know how to park their bikes, and leave them with their tails sticking out on the road! The place where i work has a lot of people coming in on bikes, and they’re packed together so tight its not even funny! one slip and its a complete domino effect! One of these days.. i just might do that!

So trying to be the calm rationale person that i am, i try not to curse at them, nor say bad things (slimes of the earth!!!! on wait.. did i say that out loud?) about them, so i just repeat the above line and go on my merry way.

One of these days……….. just one of these days…….

By far the most annoying thing on the roads is when people turn without indicating; really does my head in! Also, when caught in a bad traffic jam what pisses me off is when people keep honking like hell like that’ll remotely help clear out the traffic ! Makes me wanna go and land a punch on their faces !

Come to think of it, I haven’t cursed at someone either. But every other day you see a bunch of people going at it on the roads of Karachi, such is the commonality of accidents now. All in all, driving through the roads of Karachi is strenuous than ever before. Khud bhi bacho, doosray ko bhi bachao ! The aunties crossing the road slowly are particularly annoying! They even give you the looks like it’s us who’re at fault !

‘totally oblivious, waste of blood cells, poor excuse for being alive human beings’…this post about my ex? :p
There’s a lot of “trying to get bumped from behind” here in the states as well. They take it to a whole new level here though! Jerks.

raza: all of em too! i’m kinda understanding why people living here are so stressed all the time :(

sk: whole new level u say.. i wonder how? pray describe jee :)

No…not going to describe the whole thing….that’s a whole new blog right there…..lets just say, even if it’s not your fault, and you’re the one whose hit, you end up paying insurance initially and will probably forget about the accident before the whole process is completed!! :) Not like Pak (which is good though)…”connections, sir?!” ;)

Such people r a pain, especially the ones who don’t bother to look anywhere while they r crossing the road but sumone told me “gadi main tu break hai par inn loagon main break nahi “….that’s y we always hav to be careful to let such nawabs cross the road and not drive over them!

Oh yes, and if you’re the one behind, don’t forget the ‘neck injury’ the person in front of you suddenly suffered by your ‘tiny bump’ into their car, or (and this is my fav.) psychological (err..mental?) injury they suffered as ‘the hit was too much for my nerves!’…hah! These people here should just try and ‘act it out’ to a police officer in Pak. If the guy/gal who ‘injured’ them has “connections”, good luck to them!

    fariha: agreed!

sk: lolzz! so the things they show on TV aren’t fake after all :p the nerves thing is too much! really!! lolzz!
