i donno y, but im smiling very broadly right now.
Sorry if this is not fiction…though the guy should have said something, U know. I know personally if I were to call my ex saying ‘just called to see how you’re doin’, I am looking for him to say out loud that he missed me and all and solve our problem…in a nutshell, what the guy in this post said in his mind! Girls do like the guys to be the first to ’step forward’ you know.
And when the guy didn’t say anything she couldn’t very well say something. :)…..All for future reference.

sk: at times, it was much closer to real life than breathing, yet at times.. its as fake as chineese handbag (watching sex and the city too much, hence the bag reference :p) i agree, girls do like that.. but at times… the step forward is bounded by ego too great for the meagre human to break…
Yeah, I know…..but if it gives you a chance of winning the love of the person you want to spend the rest of life with…and she/he wants the same….isn’t it worth it to let go of your ego for a while? I might be wrong to do so…and have had many people disagree….but I have let go of pride and told my ex till the end of how much I loved him. And though some might say “How could you? Bet he’s having fun with that realization and making fun of you”…who cares. Atleast I know there was no way he could have doubted my love and what he means to me….after that if he left, he be a JERK. You know you did your part. Am I even making sense here?! Sometimes I just don’t express myself too well
sk: you’ve expressed yourself quite well, and yes… that feeling is always there, the one where u think that all it needs to fix things is to tell just how much devoted one is to making it happen, but then sometimes, guys are just jerks. yea, i know they are.. sometimes even i am.. and at other times its just because too many little things have piled up over the years to ruin whatever good we ever had…
even when you try to think about hapiness you are blindsided by somethin gone wrong.. that is what happens when u stay in a relationship too long.. or when you dont talk out too long. Again, i’m pretty certain that mostly guys are responsible for that… but still.. the thigs piling over just never seem to stop and one day you just blow your top and it all comes crashing down….

True…sometimes the ‘talking’ doesn’t just solve everything, especially if a lot of things have happened in between and gone a bit too far, people and circumstances have changed, then I guess there is no point in telling the other person how U feel about them. Maybe I still would..but there would not be any point to it! :p
yea.. when it comes to the matters of the heart, common sense and knowing there’s not point to hit is hardly a legitimate excuse.
