ever tried reading a boring book? Puts you to sleep in no time ! :)

when u realize that you cant sleep, you’re somewhere between conscious and unconcious. At that time, even getting up requires a huge test of will… i dont go for that.. just keep lying down, tossing and turning (least effort involved).

oh and saarey coursework kee books gaib hogayein hain :p gave them away as soon as i finished with them :p lolz

tip: spraying deodorant on an antbite will rid you of the irritation in seconds.

Well..on a serious note Mansoor bhai….i personally believe that we do not need to see a doctor for such things…we hav got tremendous power to cure ourselves..it’s all within us, just that we need to make our mind think in the right direction. A couple of months back i was reading a book “How to Control Your Brain at Will” by Dr. Roger Vitoz…an interesting book that talks about “lack of cerebral control” as the root cause of stress and then it goes on explaining tips and techniques to combat stress by gaining cerebral control……unfortunately i cudn’t read that book completely b’coz of semester workload but still i can say that the idea presented in that book seems to be quite a valid one!
Btw…sleeplessness is quite a general problem these days faced especially by CS/IT students and professionals…the reason…..as some ppl say “coding kar kar k aur pc k saamne beth beth kar tum loagon ka dimagh khushk hojaata hai” :P
So….chill out….drink a cup of millo milk, read a good book and then try sleeping!

why i dont take naps in the afternoon…

because.. if i sleep, i sleep.. till the next day… so i can’t talk about a nap than…

just get a routine and try to be asleep at the same hour everyday…

unaiza: off say hee tou aram hai :p per machar kee waja say thore na urre thee neend..

fariha: lolz! i’m off those books jee! 6 years was enough! hhhmmppphhhh!

xill: good tip! i’ll rem that next time!

dee: if this continues for over a month, i’ll definitely go2 a doc. The thing is, i just can sleep at night…. so i’m rearranging my routine a little.

psyched: great minds sleep alike ;)

fariha: the power of the mind does trump all, until the mind itself becomes the problem… it is then when even the strongest will can succumb and crumble the reality we’ve created around ourselves…. i find i get really active during coding though :p

joyce: at this stage in life, there’s just too much to do to have a routine :p

I can SO connect with this post of yours! Glad to know others suffer from the same breed of insanity as I do!
